Job: maybe one of the new rescuers?
History: I was born in a rural area near the Maryland Virgina border where I lived with my mother and aunt on their equine rehabilitation center. The place was gorgeous. Two crisp, white washed barns and lush, deep green pastures dotted with horses and ponies, I can remember my mom in the round pen working with a horse. I cry every time I think about it...about her. As I grew up I was taught the ways of the 'horse whisperers' at least that's what everyone around town called my mother and her sister. After I turned 15 my mother died in a car accident on her way to D.C. I was looked after by my Aunt who taught me everything I know about the rehabilitation and healing of horses. Now, here I am I guess I moved away because I needed to get away from the memories of my mom, even thinking about her now, three years later, it still brings back painful memories. I feel bad leaving my aunt behind but she's got her husband and her daughter as well as my twin brother Tom but he might come live up here with me, I miss them all so much. Oh, I almost forgot! I have a horse who my Aunt sent up to live with me, his name is Bullets in Boston but we just call him Bos for short. He's a black and white tabiano American paint horse with a bad past, My aunt decided that I would need a horse to ride and if I could cure him then he was mine. I'm still working with him, and looking for a job as an assistant trainer until I can go off on my own. Until then I guess I'm on my own.

It was raining. Amgine hated the rain, for some reasons and loved it for others. She hated lightning storms though, they always brought back bad memories. She sighed and rolled out of bed, she yawned and stretched her arms and back, trying to work out the kinks. She inhaled and stood up, walking to the bathroom she jumped in the shower. The warm water felt amazing and she was reluctant to leave.
She was a new trainer here, or she was looking for someone to assist at least. She had excellent skills in understanding horses. It was something she had learned from her aunt who raised her. Her Aunt Caro was an amazing horsewoman, or whisperer as most people called her. She owned her own rehabilitation and training facilities and taught Amgine everything she knew. Today Amgine was going to take a look at the riding facilities.
She grabbed a towel and dried herself off. She rummaged through her still unpacked clothes finding her favorite pair of barn jeans she slipped them on over her slim legs. She sighed and delved back into the pile for a shirt, she found an old black tank top and put it on as well as her khaki colored rain jacket. Next she pulled on tall socks and her tall boots which she put on under her jeans. She walked back to the bathroom and brushed and blow dried her hair. It framed her face in waves, she decided to pull it back into a messy bun since it would get wet anyways. She did minimal make-up then headed for the kitchen where a fresh pot of coffee was waiting. She poured herself a cup and sat down at the table to enjoy it. Finishing it off she rose from the table and headed out the door.
It was raining, not a torrential downpour but enough to make strands of her hair stick her her face and neck. She sighed and looked at the barn infront of her. It was big, and beautiful. She smiled to herself. Her happy moment was interrupted by the sound of galloping hooves. Amgine turned towards the sound, she saw the buckskin stallion coming her way, he was gorgeous. She squared her shoulders spread her feet apart, assuming an aggressive stance. Sure enough the stag stopped, she sighed and relaxed her position. She looked the stallion in the eye and walked slowly towards him, she averted her gaze to the ground however as not to alarm him.
There's a pretty boy hmm?
her voice was soft and gentle. She raised a hand slowly towards the brutes shoulder, she looked him in the eye again. He was bobbing his head up and down, part of a cross tie dangling from his halter. She chuckled to herself and stroked the stallions shoulder, working her fingers in slow circles up his neck, it was a technique she used to calm horses down.
Good boy
she cooed and gently took hold of his halter. She looked around for the owner of the stag, she saw one man, soaked to the bone staring at her.
Does this gorgeous boy belong to you?
she asked stroking the buckskins neck and rubbing his ears.
