RICHMOND ACADEMY!
Good for you, prospective student. You got accepted to Richmond Academy! That must mean you're pretty smart, because Richmond is not a school you can just pay your way into. Not at all. Now, why are your parents sending you here? Are you an amazing musician? Incredibly smart? Talented athlete? If you are, congrats. You're going to to very well here. Read: the teachers will love you, the more rebellious will detest you. It's okay, you'll learn how to deal with it. Eventually.
If you got in, but you're not exceptionally talented, well, it must mean that you're what's known as a rebel in the school. They may not all be your typical multiple-piercings dyed-hair tight-jeans type but they sure like to make a commotion. They really do have more fun, from smoking a joint on the quad after-hours to those wild dorm parties. They are sort of the misfits, except they make up a third of the school and are liked by most and hated by the brainiacs. Why they're not kicked out is because the school needs their tuition money, and besides, most of them are quite well-off. Their parents sent them here to get them away from their addictions. Yeah, good luck with that.
What's the other third of the school? It's those who mask their talents or are wannabes. Some of them want to be rebels but aren't sure they can deal with the consequences, because there will be repercussions. They all do have something, or else they would never have gotten in, but they're trying to figure out where their talents lie, or where they belong. They're sort of tolerated and they make the school look good in a way.
