History:
Melody was born in the small town of Hope Springs in Australia. Her parents were Lily and Jack Vayne. They were the owners of Hope Springs Rescue. A small farm where rescued horses came to live. Mel grew up loving horses more and more. At the age of 11 she showed skill to be a horse whisperer. All the horses seemed to love and trust more than they did anybody else.
The years passed and Mel was now 19, her parents had died a year ago and she was the owner of Hope Springs Rescue. The small town helped her out as much as they could so she wouldn't lose the farm. Months passed and Melody was doing perfect. Then one day a rough looking man showed up on her door step saying he was her brother. She didn't believe him and they got into a big fight. Soon after Mel took to drinking and she began shirking her duties with the horses. The boarders at HSR started to take of them for her.
Then one day one of her friends brought the situation to light in Mel's eyes. She quit drinking and accepted Jack Vayne as her older brother. Jack moved in and quit his job at lawyer. Then he renovated HSR to make it better. Now they are open and ready for new horses!

Roleplay Sample:
This was not happening! It was SO not happening! Melody Vayne slammed the door shut after the 6 foot, brown haired man stepped outside. She locked the door knob and the dead bolt before running like a lightning streak to her room. She hit the bed just when the water works started. Mel grabbed her pillow and shoved her face in it to hide. He wasn't her brother! If he was then he should have stuck around more. Not just disappearing off and only communicating with phone calls and emails. Mel sat up and wiped the tears from her eyes.
Mel ran a hand through her hair which wasn't easy because of all the knots. She sighed and put it up in a pony tail. She slowly got up from the bed and adjusted her pajama shorts before heading to the bathroom. Mel flipped the light on and ran her hands under the cold water tumbling from the faucet. She splashed the water on her face and looked at herself in the mirror. She saw a Blondie blue eyed girl with water dripping off her face. Then Mel looked closer. Now she saw a girl who had just gotten into a fight and kicked out her "older brother" not even ten minutes ago. A girl who had been deprived of her brother for quite some time now.
She blinked and dried her face and hands off. She flipped the light off and walked down the hallway. More like stomped actually. Her foot steps echoed through the halls. The echoing stopped when she reached the kitchen and pulled out a can of mountain dew. Mel looked at the can and opened it. I need a drink. She muttered and began chugging the pop. She finished the drink a little while later. A very microscopic smile appeared on her face after she threw the can away. That's better. Time for a nap. She said. Mel walked into the living room and flopped on the couch. Then she covered up and fell asleep. But she didn't sleep for long because her cell rang.
